Who is Diego Lenzi?

Olympic Athlete for the Italian national team at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

He entered the world of sports through soccer and basketball. At 16, he began boxing, driven by the desire to practice a sport where he was solely responsible for a defeat. He immediately caught the attention of the national team, which called him up for several youth training camps. Distracted by typical teenage passions, at 19 he decided to take a break before starting again in February 2022, when he sacrificed time, parties, and friendships to dedicate himself exclusively to training and competitions. His boxing idol is Mexican champion Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán, known as 'Canelo', and his strengths are his explosiveness and physical endurance. Now he can't wait to step into the ring at Paris 2024 to try to make a dream he's had since he was a child come true: to be the strongest of all.
